    Role - IT Support Intern

    Overview

    As an IT Support Intern, I was responsible for assisting in the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues, while also ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for users. My role involved both hands-on support and strategic problem-solving to enhance the efficiency of IT systems.



    Key Responsibilities:

    Technical Support: Provided first-line support for users facing issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity, including resolving tickets related to system malfunctions and outages.

    System Troubleshooting: Diagnosed and resolved various hardware/software issues for end users, including both in-person and remote assistance. Software Installation and Updates: Installed, configured, and updated software applications for users, ensuring all systems were up-to-date and secure.

    Hardware Maintenance: Assisted in maintaining and setting up desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware.

    Network Administration Support: Assisted in monitoring and maintaining local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), ensuring smooth data transmission and minimal downtime.

    Documentation: Maintained accurate records of user requests, technical issues, and solutions provided, as well as updating the knowledge base for future reference.
